GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP
PROGRAMS
The Graduate Assistant Program
(GAP) is pleased to announce that three grants
will be awarded to support graduate student
attendance and participation in the 39th
annual conference, March 19-23, 2008 in Chicago,
Illinois.
- Graduate Students presenting papers
during the conference (Category 1)
- Graduate Students whose professors recommend
attendance at the conference to gain insights
into research projects (Category 2)
- Graduate Students attending the conference
to gain insights on NCOBPS and considering
membership in the Organization (Category
3)
Graduate students desirous of consideration
for travel grants must provide the following:

Proof of enrollment in
a degree granting program, (official
transcript or official verification
of current enrollment status). |
| 2. |
A typed abstract of paper to be presented
at the conference (category 1). |
| 3. |
Written Recommendation from a professor
and a brief typed description of research
interests
(category 2) |
| 4. |
Statement of interest in NCOBPS (category
3). A brief written statement detailing
personal gains that might accrue from
membership in NCOBPS. |
Awards will be presented during
the annual banquet. Interested students
should submit required documents by March
14, 2008 to:
