The National Conference of Black Political
Scientists strongly supports the development
of political scientists and emerging scholars
in pursuit of excellence in mentoring, teaching,
writing, and research. Several NCOBPS awards
are presented at the annual conference each
year to colleagues who have made outstanding
contributions to the field of political science.
In addition, small travel grants are provided
to students each year through the NCOBPS
Graduate Assistance Program.
